When my dad was 10 he had a paper route for the Oakland Tribune. During his first month of employment he managed to sell 4 new subscriptions. As a way of rewarding the paper boy’s for their hard work the Tribune gave out prizes. One of my dad’s favorite prizes was the jeweled Duncan YoYo. When I was 10 I learned how to ‘walk the dog’ and ‘rock the cradle’ with the pink Duncan. Though, what I really wanted was to use the pearlescent one, but apparently it was too precious for my beginner’s hands.

Things you might not know about me: I LOVE YOYOS and used to be very good at YoYo tricks! These are really cool.
